とのご招待をいただき
戸田工務店 会長、通訳の丹羽さんと共に、シアトル経由でポートランド空港へ到着
早速にアメリカへお招きいただけることは、大きなご期待を寄せていただいているものと受け止め、身の引き締まる思いです。
そのご期待にお応えできるよう、精一杯取り組んでまいります
I am honored to share that, through a collaboration with Toda Construction in Shinshiro City,
I have been given the opportunity to work in Portland, Oregon, where I will be engaged in design and planning based on traditional techniques, as well as providing technical guidance to local American craftsmen.
The client has also graciously invited me to visit the mountain property they purchased as the planned building site prior to the design process.
Together with Mr. Toda, the company president, and our interpreter, Mr. Niwa, we arrived at Portland International Airport via Seattle.
Being welcomed to the United States at such an early stage is, I believe, a clear expression of the client’s great expectations.
With this in mind, I feel a strong sense of responsibility and am determined to devote myself wholeheartedly to living up to that trust.
