本日は建築主様とご一緒に、ポートランド日本庭園を視察しました
当園は「海外における最高の日本庭園」とも評され
日本文化を発信するミュージアム機能を備えており
庭園と一体となって日本文化の美を伝えています
さらに、日本を代表する世界的建築家によって設計された建築もあります
また、「日本国外にある中でも最も美しく本格的な日本庭園」と高く評価されており
庭と調和しながら多様な日本の美を感じることができました
Day 6 in Portland
Today, I visited the Portland Japanese Garden with the client.
This garden is often praised as “the finest Japanese garden overseas.” It functions as a museum promoting Japanese culture, conveying the beauty of Japanese aesthetics through its harmonious integration with the garden itself.
Furthermore, it features architecture designed by a world-renowned Japanese architect.
It is also highly regarded as “the most beautiful and authentic Japanese garden outside of Japan.” I was able to experience diverse aspects of Japanese beauty, all in perfect harmony with the garden.
