午前中は建築主様のお宅に伺い
今回のプロジェクトで最も大切な要件となる仏像等を拝見し、様式のイメージを膨らませました
その後、建築主様のご案内でMt. Hoodと
その麓にあるTPILLIUM LAKEを訪れました
午後は、昨日に引き続き、建築主様を交えて
今回のプロジェクトにおける候補となるアメリカ人大工の方々と面談
技術・知識ともに十分対応可能と思える職人達と出会えたご縁に、心より感謝申し上げます
Day 4 in Portland
This morning, I visited the client’s home to view the Buddhist statues and other key elements central to this project, helping me develop a clearer vision of the desired style.
Later, guided by the client, I visited Mt. Hood and TILLIUM LAKE at its base.
In the afternoon, continuing from yesterday, we held interviews with American carpenters who are candidates for this project, joined by the client.
We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet craftsmen who appear fully capable in both skill and knowledge.
